Kareem Hameed was born in Baghdad in 1958. He studied chemical engineering and arts. He came to The Netherlands in 1995. Typical of his work is the constant movement and the use of colors. In his opinion there are already more than enough straight lines surrounding us. His work is very accessible and leaves much space to fantasies. He paints with acrylic and oil on relatively large canvases.
